About Us

Everyday Edition is where we break down the programs, benefits, and buying decisions that fill up everyday life — the ones that are usually explained in fine print, government language, or a 30-second ad that leaves out the important half.

Our guides cover Medicare and senior benefits, health topics and research studies, jobs and training, housing and home services, cars, and household money questions. Some of our readers arrive in the middle of a decision. Others are just trying to figure out whether something they heard about is real. Both deserve a straight answer, and that is what we try to give.

Our approach

We start with primary sources — official program documentation, agency websites, plan materials, and established nonprofit resources — and we say plainly what a benefit covers, what it does not, what it costs, and where people commonly get misled. When a popular claim turns out to be exaggerated, we write that too.

Articles are organized by topic so you can find related guides quickly, and we update our coverage as programs and rules change.

Please read this part

Everyday Edition is an independent information publication. We are not affiliated with Medicare, any government agency, or any insurance company, and nothing here is medical, legal, or financial advice. Details like eligibility and benefit amounts depend on your state, your county, and your plan. For decisions that matter, verify with the official program or a qualified professional before acting.
